About AgriCord 

Founded in 2002, AgriCord brings together a unique network of agri-agencies and farmers’ organisations working towards a common goal: strong farmers' organisations delivering lasting livelihoods, environmental and climate outcomes for farmers and their communities.   

AgriCord alliance works with farmers’ organisations at local, national, regional, continental and global levels through technical assistance in: 

• agricultural and agroforestry extension,
   
• climate change adaptation and mitigation, 
   
• organisational development and inclusive governance, 
   
• entrepreneurship, market development and access to finance, 
   
• policy engagement and advocacy, 
   
• knowledge management and farmer-led research and innovation. 

Our approach is farmer-centric and facilitates farmer-to-farmer exchanges, learnings and capacity building. We collaborate with partners across research, public and private sectors to co-design programmes, mobilise resources and scale farmers’ organisation services, and integrate farmers in value chains. By effective matchmaking and bringing together our networks, we align efforts, reduce costs and drive lasting impact.
