Strengthening of the partner organisation and capacity building The project will mainly strengthen the “relating” dimension of the partner organizations and all the civil society organizations that joined the project in order to influence public policies. It will also contribute to creating a culture of articulation in the organizations to act together in defence of common interests, through an inter-institutional political platform of strategic articulation and advocacy. This will make it possible for the campesino and ethnic movement to have its own agenda in dialogue with the State, private business and civil society. Also to become integrated in an effective and proactive way in the new mechanisms of participation created by the new government such as the Popular Social Front (Frente Social Popular) and Sectoral Panels (Mesas Sectoriales) created for the formulation of policy proposals originating from the popular sectors. The project will provide the organizations with the necessary tools for influencing key factors of their development such as credit, technology, commercialization networks, etc., which they must negotiate with the government and other organizations of the Social Economy.
