04pm-2735 - PMBA Micro Insurance Programme: Phase 2

The 3 years project proposal (2004-2007) will lead the Pakisama Mutual Benefit Association (PMBA) to financial self sustainability. The total project costs as mentioned Euro 248,325 will in this process partly being covered by own income (42% or Euro 104.580). Objective is to enroll 21.000 members by the end of year 2007. The PMBA apparatus will increase by recruitment and training of 264 sales agents (Kadamays), 26 Area Insurance Coordinators and 6 Regional Insurance Coordinators. The package of insurance products will be increased and fine-tuned according to members needs. A Windows version of the OASE administrative soft ware package will be operational enabling a continuous technical backing by Interpolis. Interpolis will guarantee a re-insurance cover for the programme. By the end of the year 2007 the PMBA is financiallly independent and ensuring a vast and secure income to the PAKISAMA Confederation.
