Strengthening of the partner organisation and capacity building The proposal contributes to being through the strengthening of MAELA as it promotes agro-ecology focusing on food sovereignty, with a high representation of campesinos and people from ethnic groups in its structures and policies. To doing through its strategies linked with the promotion of food sovereignty, with the market, with the rescue of bio-diversity, etc., and to relating by facilitating synergies for the establishment of alliances and political influencing at the national, regional and continental spheres in favour of a sustainable development, taking part in the debate about public policies on agro-ecology. The proposal is framed within MAELA’s strategy for 2006-2010. Along this line, strengthening of organizational work is proposed at the level of members/country.
