General Assembly and Advisory Committee

On 13 and 14 October, in Madrid, AgriCord held its General Assembly and its first Advisory Committee.

On 13 October, UPA-ACODEA hosted the first AgriCord Adivisory Committee in Madrid. The Advisory Committe is composed of farmers organisations representatives from developing countries (AFA, EAFF, PROPAC, ROPPA, SACAU, UMAGRI, UNICAFES). It formulates recommandations on the objectives, the priorities, the approaches and strategies of the program "farmers fighting Poverty".

On 14 October, UPA-ACODEA hosted the AgriCord General Assembly. The recommendations of the Advisory Committee have been discussed. The General Assembly also welcomed two new members agri-agencies: ASIADHRRA, backed up by the Asian Farmers Association, and ASPRODEB, backed up by its 29 Senegalese farmers organisations members.
