work area 10: Farmer-to-Farmer Agricultural Extension

This work area is to introduce experiences with Farmer Field Schools and horizontal farmer-to-farmer information in new situations, mainly in Africa. We estimate that 20 organizations will be able to work on the horizontal exchange of farming knowledge for 3 years. In 2007 the target is to reach 3 organisations with an outreach to 36.074 farmers.
