A pilot project of one year duration will initiate twinning cooperation between a Tanzanian and a Finnish rural women’s organization. The purpose is to support the Kalali women’s dairy cooperative to establish a profitable dairy business, to increase incomes of its members and to support its organisational development towards improved business orientation. The project will focus on capacity development to overcome the current challenges of dairy husbandry, product quality and marketing. A skilled professional manager will be employed to coordinate the business and develop financial administration.
