Strengthening of the partner organisation and capacity building The greatest support lies in the legalisation of CNMC, which has been operating since 1994 without formal legal identity but connected to CONFRAS. CNMC wishes to become independent and join CONFRAS and be part of its Board of Directors with voice and vote, and on that basis look after the social, economic and political interests of the women in the cooperatives. The inter-institutional ties between CNMC and CONFRAS will be consolidated within the frame of the project in order to demand, from the basis of autonomy, the establishment of egalitarian mechanisms for women and men. The increase in women’s income will allow them to make contributions to CNMC for its sustainability. Budget: 665,000 sek
