Strengthening of the partner organisation and capacity building In a pre-proposal phase, an organisational analysis was carried out where the main weaknesses were identified in MCNOC’s organisation. Considering this, actions to improve the most critical areas pertaining to its capacity “To Do” and “To Relate” were set out. Initiatives focus on training leaders on administration and finance, planning methods, monitoring and evaluation so they can apply them in the project. A socio-economic diagnostic will be held to create a database for planning purposes. The Strategic Planning defines a strategy for the organization’s economic sustainability. It seeks to create linkages among campesino social movement organizations to achieve political advocacy, opportunities for lobbying and political-institutional negotiations through an activist platform of campesino organizations working from within the cooperative sector.
