Where do Forest and Farm Producer Organisations fit in the rapidly evolving world of nature finance?
Join us for a two-hour interactive webinar organised as part of AgriCord's contribution to the Forest and Farm Facility (FFF).
We will explore how financing for biodiversity and nature is developing and discuss how FFPOs can become active actors in designing, implementing and monitoring nature-finance initiatives.
The session will present key findings from the paper “From Carbon to Biodiversity: Nature-Related Finance and the Role of Forest and Farm Producer Organisations” and open a discussion around a central question:
How can nature finance reach FFPOs and the smallholder producers and communities they represent?
We will also launch an online survey of FFPOs to understand their real-world experiences: Have they accessed nature-based funding? From whom? For what purposes? And if they have not, what barriers have prevented them from doing so?
The findings will help develop a clearer picture of the opportunities and constraints FFPOs face in the emerging nature-finance landscape.
