AgriCord, Clim-Eat and WePlanet are hosting the third edition of Breaking the Bubbles.
This time focused on one of the most polarising debates in European food policy: sustainable protein, aimed at breaking the culture war between livestock production and alternative proteins.
We will explore how innovation, farming, and policy can move forward together towards sustainable protein through nuanced dialogue among diverse stakeholders. Â
This is a small, high-energy event and after-work drinks in Brussels designed to spark fresh thinking and genuine exchange across the food system.Â
Breaking the Bubbles will bring together farmers, policymakers, civil society, researchers and innovators to unpack:Â
- the role of alternative proteins in a sustainable food system
- how livestock production can be part of the solution
- what this means for Europe’s farmers, climate goals, and economic competitiveness.Â
No panels. No endless slides. Just focused discussion, fresh perspectives, and space to connect over networking drinks.
